"WIQED"

Wiqed brought the bike in years after the first time I rebuilt it and had a blown motor. We first agreed to fix the motor and get him back on the road. As we were rebuilding the motor he decided to do some minor upgrades, and those minor upgrades turned into MAJOR upgrades! |

We went from all chrome to all black powder coat! We powder coated the entire front end, handlebars, risers, motor mounts, all tranny covers, rocker boxes, air cleaner, nose cone, tappet blocks, swing arm, axle covers, calipers and mounts, all belt drive components, fender struts, basically everything we could take off or separate! |

After rebalancing the flywheels and new rod bearings we started on the cam and lifters. New pistons 9.5:1, and a new valve job completed the motor. We then installed a new 3 in. open belt drive from Revtech/ BDL with the new lock up clutch. New 18 in. Mammoth wheels from DNA were put on and wrapped with new rubber. |

For hand controls we used HHI master cylinder and clutch perch, Arlen Ness Grips finished off the 18 in. gimp ape hangers. Wiqed decided on 2" extended forward controls from HHI in black anodized with Arlen Ness pegs. Laser stars micro B lights were installed to function as running lights, brake lights, and turn signals. The rear lights were affixed on the rear axle covers. |

The paint was touched up by well-known painter, Mike DuSold, he had originally painted it for Wiqed in the mid 90's. All in all I think the bike looks great, she transformed into a completely different motorcycle! |
